DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation, Repairing and Maintaining Coldrooms.
- Installation of coldroom panels, equipment, doors, machines, wiring and programs to meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot systems to determine causes of operating errors and rectifying the problems.

- Topping up gas to the system as and when required.
- Dismantle malfunctioning systems and replace worn or defective equipment.
- Perform mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming.
- Install expansion and control valves, compressor, condenser and other components in specified locations.
Maintenance and Repair of Containers
- Able to troubleshoot reefer malfunctions.
- Perform repair and maintenance on malfunction reefer containers.
- Plug and unplug containers at specified locations.
- Any ad-hoc tasks given by supervisor or management.
Reports.
- Prepare service reports after every completed job for customer’s endorsement.
- Prepare temperature log reports and commissioning reports after completion.
- Keep record of repairs and own job schedules.
Others
- Inform supervisor of required materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Pick up, deliver and install required materials and supplies as and when required.
- Communicate with clients with regards to problems in equipment and post-job reports.
Candidate Requirements
- Class 3 driving license is an advantage, but not necessary.
- Able to speak and write English.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and mechanical works.
