We’re currently looking for an Occasional Driver in Northeast Pasadena, 91107
A Pasadena family is seeking an occasional caregiver/driver for their kind and social 91 year old mother to start as soon as possible. Driving to doctor appointments is needed on occasion for a minimum of 3 hours a day, with the furthest destination being approximately 7 miles. The days needed will be intermittent when doctor appointments are scheduled. You will receive notice of at least 24 hours; most of the time much more notice of the days and times needed. Appointments will be made within the following range; any day Monday-Friday, any time between 9am-4pm. The client wears hearing aids and relies on a wheelchair; she will need assistance with getting in and out of your vehicle. A great candidate will be patient with the client and have compassion for what they do. The client is fully vaccinated + boosted against COVID-19.

- End date: Long term
- Schedule: Intermittent, days and times will be between Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
- Compensation: $30 per hour + gas and parking fee reimbursement when driving client

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driving client to and from appointments
- Lifting wheelchair in and out of vehicle
- Walking client up to their appointment and apartment
- Assisting client with small tasks in the home
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional elderly care experience
- Must have a reliable vehicle to transport client
- Must be able to lift wheelchair into vehicle
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew prior to start
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and willing to show proof
- Must be UTD on most recent COVID-19 booster
